The News is we have a new location!
Our prayers were answered in a way unimagineable.
We now feature a rural destination with walking and meditation gardens, a small gallery for healing tools, aroma therapy proucts and gifts, plus a treatment room and meeting space.
This was our prayer request below from 2013 for a new space where we could add a complimentary practice of Reiki and energy work for cancer patients....
See how putting it in writing and opening up to the universe has allowed for Holy Providence to provide...
June 2013
We are actively looking for a site located in proximity to a cancer treatment center in order to establish another Waltja Center for Healing Arts.
This Center will offer complimentary therapies including gentle hands on and energy work for cancer patients
--free of charge--
Our vision is for an Upstate NY healing oasis of clean sweet air, green gardens, comfortable chairs on a patio for sitting in the morning sun and paths for easy walks through the woods, workshops and classes.
Healing arts practitioners may be artists-in-residence while providing their healing artform in a fellows internship arrangement at the Center.
How will we fund free complimentary therapies for patients being treated for cancer?
The funding is provided by medical products manufacturers and conventional state-of-the-art cancer treatment companies. These are corporations whose leadership want to give some of their profits to help improve the quality-of-life for people their products treat in hospitals and cancer treatment centers around the world.
We already have one interested medical products manufacturer who has offered to sponsor the creation of a venue for our work with cancer patients. He offers to pay for renovations, ongoing utilities and maintenance on the facility. He plans to design and construct his eco-friendly sustainable building on the same property. More ongoing support will be needed but their initial sponsorship will help make our vision a realty.
Now we need to find a place...
We are currently looking in the Cooperstown-Cherry Valley area. Please help us find an appropriate space, a house or farm with land to build, to do this important work!
